Sri Lanka Cricket CEO Ashley de Silva said that a system has been initiated to provide a bonus if matches are won and a deduction in players' payments if matches are lost.

He said this at a press conference held at the Sri Lanka Cricket Institute today (23) under the chairmanship of South African Gary Curtson, who has been appointed as the head coach of Sri Lanka Cricket.

Speaking further, Ashley de Silva said,

"As per the agreement, a system has been created where financial benefits are given if matches are won. In addition, they have been given bonuses.

Also, if matches are lost, it has been added to the players' contracts to affect them."
