Sri Lanka have qualified for the Super Six round of the Under-19 World Cup.
Sri Lanka qualified by defeating Ireland in their second match of the preliminary round.
The match was played in Namibia.
Batting first, Sri Lanka scored 267 runs for the loss of only 5 wickets in 50 overs.
Captain Wimat Dinsara took the lead with a top score of 95 runs, while Chamika Heenatigala scored an unbeaten 51 runs.
Chasing a target of 268 runs, Ireland were all out for 161 runs in 40.1 overs.
Accordingly, Sri Lanka won the match by a huge margin of 106 runs.
In bowling, Dulnit Sigera took 4 wickets, while Rasith Nimsara took 3 wickets, putting pressure on the Irish batsmen.
